Geocache Description:

Celebrate Elizabethtown's local accomplishments, it all started right here! Twenty years ago, analog cellular service was offered to rural Kentucky thanks to the vision of five landline phone companies. Not only can you now talk, text, play Angry Birds & Scrabble, watch a movie, refill a prescription, answer email, and download a cigarette lighter for a concert...you can also use your GPS app to geocache. Bluephoria!

Cache is a fun container with action objects and log. FTF gets great loot. This cache celebrates our son's 11th birthday. Have fun, we did! History: Headquartered in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, this was the first cellular carrier to provide analog cellular network service in rural Kentucky. Service was initiated in May, 1991. Internet, video and long distance services are also a part of the service offerings.
