Couldn't resist hiding a cache at this historic marker.
We were on our way back from the nearby Canal cache, and spotted
this historical marker. It was interesting, so we decided to hide a
micro cache here. Maybe you'll find it interesting too!

#3101. TNLNSL. Out with KCSearcher crew (my wife) as we drive from Concord to Willows to meet my son and his family (from Paradise) for a gift exchange. They were still a few minutes out so we decided to go for a cache. This was #1 of 1 found today. Good coordinates and hint. Quick and easy. After the find we met the family at Black Bear Diner and the front page menu had a story about this very monument being dedicated in 1976. Cache it in good shape. Replaced as found. Elevation 96 feet. Weather 52 degrees this early evening, clear, calm, cool.
