Park at the sign and take a walk down the trail to the lake. This is the site of a tavern that use to rent boats on both the lakes. If you look close you can see the old steps in the swamp to the east of the road going to the landing. It use to a very busy place in th summer time . Form 2500-118 has been summitted to the wisconsin DNR at the chippewa moraine ice age unit. Permission has been granted by Brenda Rederer at the ice age unit.
