The weather was so nice this morning, I just had to take a break from my work and go for a walk. While enjoying a such a pleasant day for February, I found a place to hide a cache. I named it to commemorate a favorite watering hole located nearby where some co-workers and I would occasionally meet at after work. It has since acquired a new owner and changed names.
I often wondered how the name for the watering hole came about. I know we used to drink, get loud, and start talking nonsense. Maybe that's it; horsefeathers is slang for nonsense.
Or maybe they borrowed the name from a 1932 comedy movie, "Horse Feathers", staring the Marx Brothers.
Well, all that is just trivial matter. What you really need to know is there is parking close by, and the walk is short. This should be an easy fun cache rain or shine.
