In a large turn out on Hwy. 18. Steep hill, be careful. Please replace so it won't be seen from wall.
1 quart container with camo. duct tape. We recently adjusted the terrain as some cachers reported that they thought should be higher due to the steep terrain and loose rocks. Safest to use turnout when going uphill, as there is limited visibility on the way down. Since this is in the mountains, especially in warm weather, beware of snakes. Great views of San Bernardino Valley. On a clear day, usually in the afternoon, if you look towards the southwest you can see the ocean and Catalina Island. Original contents when container was placed, as follows: Emergency blanket, jigsaw puzzle, 2 AA batteries, flag pencil, flag pin, super ball, 76 antenna ball, compass keychain, silly putty, carabiner, bracelet, Compass Rose Geocoin and Alaska Bear Travel Bug.
