Geocache Description:

Welcome to my “Star Trek” Geo-Art Series!

Each cache in this series is NOT at its posted coordinates.  You will have to answer a question about the series in order to ascertain the correct coordinates.  The questions are not meant to be hard, and can easily be found by going to Wikipedia and doing some quick reading!

Some things to keep in mind:

  1. Please only attempt caches during the day – NO night caching.
  2. Caches, for the most part, are near roads and are not always “kid-friendly.”  Keep an eye on mini cachers (children).
  3. 99% of the caches are a micro, of the soda bottle pre-form variety.  They should be easily found.
  4. If you like the series, and had fun grabbing the caches, please consider leaving a favorite point for ST #1.
  5. Have fun!

I got the idea for this series after thinking it was a real shame that I’ve been in this hobby for over a year now and haven’t met a lot of the “southside” cachers.  I decided to create a series to bring them up here and hopefully get the chance to say “hi!”  I also wanted a second attempt at geo-art after my “Picasso”-esque attempt with the nearby VTCC series.

I hope you have fun finding the answers and the containers, and wish you the best of luck.  It was a blast creating the art for this series and I really hope you enjoy it.  Get caching!

Special thanks to SNAP’s Tom for all of his help and advice in putting together this series.  Check out his “OH SNAP!!!” Snap-Land geo-art down south of here in Suffolk, VA, if you haven’t already!  It’s amazing.  Also, special thanks to the local reviewers who answered many more questions than they probably wanted to!
