This cache has been archived.

Pieman: With great sadness, I am going to have to archive my first cache. After twelve years untouched, someone has now swiped two ammo box in next to no time. Not wanting to stock their garage any further, this won't be replaced.

Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk in the Cheshire countryside along a newly created bridleway that runs alongside a stream, brings you to this cache.

This bridleway was renovated in 2003 and has won an award for flora preservation. On a sunny day, this is a very peaceful walk in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Look out for the wild flowers, which include marsh marigold, celandines, campion, bluebells, and stitchwort.

You can park off the lane at the sharp bend off Flash Lane at co-ordinates at N 53 19.110 W 2 31.218. Please make sure you don't block access to the farmer's fields. Finding Flash Lane itself is more dificult than it used to be as the council have removed the sign at the intersection with Pools Platt Lane!

Please make sure not to harm the flowering plants when searching- none need to be disturbed to find the cache.

In winter the cache can be quite exposed- please take care when re-hiding it!
