Geocache Description:

This location brings back memories of when I was growing up. Once a busy switchyard complete with a turntable it sadly has all gone away. I remember even “driving” the switch engine back and forth on the track. The Rock Island line was an important factor in our town and other small towns around the area providing good jobs for many.
