Geocache Description:

AARONS GOLDEN 1000 MULTI PUZZLE QUEST

After completing our 1000th Geocache, on which Aaron had helped put together ,we wanted to return the favour.
I talked to Aaron about my Idea, and although a little hesitant, he agreed and the cache was born.

A few months ago, early April If I remember correctly my son and I were racing to get a FTF South of Napanee.
As we approached GZ I saw the glow of a flash light, yep another FTF racer was now in the neighborhood.

This was the first time I met Aaron, and from there a friendship was born.

Through out the weeks and months to follow we raced Aaron on FTF's, we won some and we lost some, but we did have a lot of late night rendevouz.

Once we both were bitten by the Geocache hiding bug, things got a little interesting, Napanee and Selby had no idea what they were in for, Most of the time I would get his FTF's
and he would get mine. Thinking back, we kept each other in coffee for quite a while.

Well each day that passes our friendship grows stronger, he has asked me for help from time to time, and I call upon him now and then, we make a great team.

Aaron assisted with 2 of my Events held in Napanee, which made them run a lot easier. He is always there to help when called upon

It's hard to believe Aaron, that on March 17/09 you found your first geocache (Sharpen Your Corners) and were playing with Dinky Cars and Flower Pins, and now 8 short months later your getting ready to play with a Golden Ammo Can and hit #1000

So my friend ,this Cache is Dedicated to you, from my family to yours, good luck, and congratulations on hitting 999 geocaches.

Notice I said 999 and not 1000, I will congratulate you on 1000 when I see your name in the log book
.

Your quest will start with a key and end with a cache .

This is a 4 part Multi-Cache with a Puzzle at every stage.
Each stage will lead you to the next until you hit the final.

I wanted to just put out a nice traditional, with a nice walk, but Aaron begs me to make it hard, do a puzzle or 2 Joe, Pleeeeeeeease,    Geesh he's telling me what to put out
for his own cache, I bet next he'll want me to give him a FTF on it.

This cache will take you on a tour of Napanee/Selby area, take your time and enjoy the country roads.

Here we go............................

PS: As if you don't have enough to worry about, don't forget to collect a number at each stage as well.

Stage 1
This stage will have you thinking for seconds or pulling your hair out for hours.

Stage 2
This stage is a physical activity challenge that will test your Speed, Patients and endurance, please pace yourself.

Stage 3
This stage will be a mathematical problem, with a small twist thrown in (just for S & G)

The Final
Oh the final, The Golden Ammo Can (with a twist)  What? he said to make it hard, blame Aaron
If you make it this far, I must congratulate you for being on the right track and making it to the Final.

To complete the final, you must take what you have learned at the previous 3 stages, as well as put together every interlocking piece, this will allow the Golden Ammo Can to open.
But
Be warned if you get 1 piece wrong, just 1 little piece the can will not open, you will have to start over, and it gets more difficult each attempt (yep that's the twisty part)
So take your time and be accurate, it can only be done 1 way and 1 way only, brute force will not work here.

Aaron you have Trained for this moment over the last 999 caches, use what you have learned, what you have read and most of all think like Coman

Although not necessary I would highly recommend bringing the following.

Stage 1
Just your brain, and a pair of non slip gloves
Stage 2
A ruler 30cm (12 in), a piece of board or strong cardboard 18x18",2 pencils, and an elastic band or 2 would not hurt
Stage 3
A blindfold, 8 coins bigger then a dime, and a piece of rope 24" long .
Stage 4 The Final
If you took my advice, you already have all you need for the final .

Good Luck
Coman123
