Geocache Description:

The Road to Nowhere series - A series of quick park-n-grabs on dead end streets.

As anyone who knows me knows, or reads logs I post, I detest micros, and I’m not overly fond of urban caches, so I’m starting a series incorporating both! Yes, it’s so hypocritical you’d think I was running for elected office. There are lots of dead end streets - this series will highlight roads I’ve come across that are in interesting locations or there for interesting reasons, and have a place to put a cache. All caches in this series should be quick park and grabs – only use the clue if you’re truly stuck. Second in an unknown number of caches. Cache #2 -555th Ave. It's also shown as Western Ave, and Short Ave, depending on what map you look on. It also used to continue onward, across what is now highway 12, before they re-arranged it. Why I found it interesting - this is the other dead-end street I always drove by and thought, Hmm, I should put a cache there, along with the first cache in this series, Comings Road. Why you might find it interesting - it is a terrific spot to park and watch trains.
