For the next couple decades or so after the attack on Mr. Frank Geller in the Spring of 1975, Frank led a semi-normal life. Only having one arm, made life harder for Frank, but he was a real trooper. He even raised two daughters that went on to become world-renowned naturalists.
The younger daughter, Neller, has had a personal quest to prove the existence of the Creature ever since the second incident.
This is how that story has been retold for years:
On a cool, Autumn night along I-80/35, lightning struck twice. Frank was on his way to see his nephew play football in Ames when his car ran out of gas along the interstate. Being an avid bicycler, he knew the "Ding" Darling trail was close by and led down to Eucild Avenue where he could get some gas.
He left his car by the side of the road and jumped on the bike trail headed towards Euclid. Unfortunately for Frank, his "friend" from years past was close by in the woods surrounding the trail.
Frank only got about fifty yards from his car when terror struck again. From out of the dusk, strode the behemoth. Frank made a break for it, but the long strides of the Creature made Frank no match for it. Hopefully, for Frank it was quick, but it makes you wonder if that Creature had it in for Frank. Mr. Geller was never seen or heard from again.
In the next couple years, Neller led a exhaustive search for her Father, the Creature, or for any evidence of the attack.
See if you can find any evidence of what might have been left behind by Frank and help Neller achieve her life-long quest.
