Also thanks to those who visited and helped cart some trash out of the nearby "caves". Geocache Description:


Wasn’t Sir Winston Churchill just the coolest? Not only was he a master statesman who stood against fascism, but he also provided an excellent quote for us to use/abuse for this cache. There’s nothing particularly Churchillian about this hide, but the title does make reference to our hiding method. Although the cache is ultimately hidden in a silver bison tube, this is not the object of your search. Be on the alert for a fairly common object in an uncommon place. Log only, so please bring your own writing stick!

We’d like to thank JackCacheNC for providing the bison tube for this cache. We retrieved it from his “Jack’s Evil Seed Cache” (GCMVHP) up in Raleigh. We think that this hide would make daddy proud!

Here are a few more words from Sir Winston which should inspire your search: “We shall not fail or falter; we shall not weaken or tire. Neither the sudden shock of battle nor the long-drawn trials of vigilance and exertion will wear us down. Give us the tools and we will finish the job.” So bring your GPSr, your common sense, and your perseverance, and you should do just fine.
