UPDATE, JUNE 2018: This cave is now locked to prevent disturbing the bats. To claim this find, take a photo of you and your group in front of the cave entrance and post it with your log. OLD DESCRIPTION: Coordinates mark the entrance to a cave. Go inside if you dare and find the date next to the name "JAKE". Email that date to us and we'll let you know if you can claim it as a find.
The cave is located inside a high outcropping in Governor Dodge State Park. There is a marked hiking trail that will take you all the way to the entrance of the cave so there's no need to bushwack. The hike from the nearest parking spots is about 1.5 to 2 miles each way. You could mountain bike to within .5 miles of the cave. Be sure to pick up a trail map at the park entrance so you can choose one of several possible routes and parking spots.
