Pleasant Point Park is a town recreational area in Oakland, Maine. Take Rt. 137 West out of Oakland and turn left onto the McGrath Pond Rd. The park is on the left a few hundred yards after the turn. There is a large parking lot and the cache is located in the waterfront area beyond. The park closes at 9 P.M. and does not allow pets.
After over 3 years the original cache container was muggled in July 2009. The container is now a small camo'ed Tupperware container that holds the log but no trade items or pen. I hope a small container will be easier to hide so please conceal it well. If this one gets muggled I will find a new hiding spot. Please remember that the park closes at 9 P.M. so no midnight caching!
***This cache became Maine's 1000'th active cache the day it was published***
(Congratulations haffy FTF!)
