'Arctic Valley Rest Stop!' is a small traditional cache located near the ski chalet in Arctic Valley.
The cache is accessible from the Glenn Highway after exiting onto Arctic Valley Road. Proceed to the end of the road which ends at the Arctic Valley Ski Area. There is a $5 parking fee that is unique to this location. Your State Park parking permit does not apply.
Should you consider pursuing other caches in the area; remember, the gate at the bottom of the hill opens at 6am and closes at 10pm so keep this in mind when planning your trip!!
Come find this cache, sit for a bit and enjoy the views of Mt Redoubt, the Alaska Range, Anchorage, Sleeping Lady, the Arctic Valley Ski Area and the valleys and peaks that surround it!
Bring your cameras and perhaps a picnic lunch and enjoy!!!
