Second installment of a series of caches to lead you up the fire roads of Griffith Park.

Now that Griffith Park has experienced significant regrowth since the fire of 2007 that destroyed 800 acres, it's time to repopulate the caches on this side of the hill.

Cache is a cammoed airborne tube.

Be sure to check out GOOGLE MAPS SATELLITE IMAGES, to see how the area was devastated by the fire.

August 8 by ravrobin (2088 found) 11th of 18 finds today with Foon! The weather was perfect - not too hot - and the views were beautiful! Fortunately, we saw this good hidey place from the path - along with the cache! Foon retrieved it for us! SL! TFTC! [view this log]

August 8 by foon (5054 found) 11th of 18 finds today with RavRobin. We started the day with a 7-mile hike around Griffith Park, grabbed dinner at Philippe, and then took a 3-mile walk around Downtown Los Angeles. As we approached GZ, we said "that would be a good place for a cache". And, guess what? The GPSrs took us right there, we spotted the cache, and we made the quick grab. TFTC. [view this log]
