You will need a boat for this one! Exchange island is very close to a couple of public boat ramps, so no need for high speeds here!
Watch for manatees!
While sailing the St. Johns River I was surprised that there are no caches on the islands yet. Everybody in Florida seems to have some sort of watercraft.
Hiding a cache on an Island will give you the chance to combine two hobbies! Exchange Island occupies approximately 34 acres of land. The island, which averages approximately 350 feet in width and 2,400 feet in length it is currently undeveloped.
Terrain 5 caches are not reserved for the wilderness; this one is pretty close to the town center. Once you managed to get to Exchange Island you will find the cache without difficulties!
There is a lot of trash on the island which drifts there all the time, so if you want to be a A+ cacher, bring a bag for some CITO. Please upload a picture of your watercraft or some little pic how you made it to the island.
