Geocache Description:

Come walk along Mission Creek and see a part of San Francisco that the tourists rarely visit. Originally a huge wetlands and once a huge landfill, the lands around Mission Creek are a testament to generations that wanted their real estate flat, dry and easy to build on. The only thing that hasn't been filled in is the creek itself.

But just because you can't build on it doesn't mean you can't live on it. Mission Creek has something you don't see every day - a houseboat enclave. We'll take you on a short walk through Huffaker park opposite the dock. Note that some of the stages may not be visible at night. You wouldn't be able to see the butterfly garden either, so time your visit for daylight hours.

  1. N 37 46.371 W 122 23.621 -- Park alongside Mission Creek park and proceed to these coordinates. You're in front of a new building with a large 3-digit number over the glass doors. Add the digits of the number together to get A.
  2. N 37 46.355 W 122 23.685 -- There is a sign over the gateway to the dock that reads "Mission Creek Harbor" along with a 3-digit address on Channel street. That address is BCD.
  3. N 37 46.343 W 122 23.711 -- A tree was planted here, a gift from Louisana Gale in memory of a Mr. Broering. The number of letters in Mr. Broering's first name is E.
  4. N 37 46.274 W 122 23.791 -- Nearby is a bench built around a tree. There is a plaque on the bench in memory of Jack Boatwright. The last digit of the year he died is F.

The sum of A B C D E & F is 20.

The cache is at N 37 46.BCE 122 23.FAD, and should be nearby. For extra credit, answer the question - Would you like to live here?
