Geocache Description:

Mike Mulligan, and his steam shovel Mary Anne. A cache for geezers

This was one of my favorite books as a child, and only now do i understand the darkside:

Mike Mulligan and Mary Anne face competition from modern, diesel-powered shovels. Seeking an area of the country where his less modern steam shovel can still find work, Mike finds a small town that is about to build a new town hall. The authorities react with disbelief when Mike makes the claim that he and his steam shovel Mary Anne can dig the cellar in a single day; they protest that it would take a hundred men a week. Mike insists that Mary Anne can indeed finish the job in one day, though he has some private doubts.
At sunup the next day, Mike and Mary Anne begin work and just manage to complete the task by sundown. However, they have neglected to dig themselves a ramp so they can drive out. A child who had been watching makes the suggestion that Mike take the job of janitor for the town hall, and that Mary Anne should become the boiler for the town hall's heating system. A dark reading can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z1R5vDG2Tg

This is my first geezer cache, intended for ol' geezer cachers, you know the ones, always sitting home waiting for a new cache to go up mid-week, mid-day so they can beat all the working or schooling cachers.

So I've made it as geezer friendly and set up attributes as such:  No childproof caps, no need to bend over, short walk from parking, no need for bifocal to be put on as an easy spot. There's a pencil there as geezers often forget to bring one.  Land-line phones don't have the Geochacing app but you can find this without it.
Acceptable swag might be:  Magnifying glass, Efferedent coupons, AARP membership, Tylenol, "I like Ike" button, etc

This book will soon be republished for the newest generation with Mike Mulligan and Sam, the Bobcat
