Seefin Passage Tomb is situated on the summit of 600m high Seefin Mountain which lies just south of the Kilbride Rifle Range. It is a cruciform passage tomb with two side-chambers and one at the back. The tomb is covered with a stone cairn and has a corbelled roof which is incomplete and makes access possible. At the approach of the main chamber are two stones bearing concentric diamond-like motifs that resemble the human face. One roof stone near the entrance bears a decoration of five lines. There is also an Early Christian equal-armed cross on one of the roofing stones.
Seefin is not very accessible, however you can park you car at 53.17048 -6.40308 and follow the forest due east before you start to ascend the mountain, northwards. At 53.173854 -6.39722 head due north and follow until you reach the end of the forest. Keep on this track until it eventually runs out. You should be able to see the passage tomb straight ahead.

Cache is placed about 100 feet from the portal tomb. There is no direct way to the summit so please take proper shoes and gear. Allow up to 2 hours to climb the hill, find the cache, enjoy views and return. In case of the rain you can find the shelter inside the tomb. If you are not slim enough to slip through the main entrance, please use "back door". Please bear in mind - this is National Monument built 5000 years ago by people who brought to the top thousands of stones. Don't take down stony souvenirs, only photos and memories.
