A gentle walk through an interesting wood, enjoyed by local dog walkers and BMX enthusiast's.
Cache is placed on Round Hill wood near Newport.
If you choose to walk through the woods you may see what looks like an artifial round hill, possibly the reason for the name.
Oposite the wood is Chetwynd Heath which rumour has it contained the wild deer you can now see at the county showground.
We believe that many years ago local people volunteered to move the deer using any vehicle available as the area was under threat from a housing development who were about to cull the deer.
Fortunately the development never happened but the deer now remain at the showground which at the time was a private concern.
