Geocache Description:

Located on a ridge above the Wind Caves, near the south entrance of Split Mountain. in the Anza-Borrego Park.

Was out exploring the Wind Caves with RCTRECKER and hiked up the ridge until we found the Crow's Nest. Perfect place for a cache. Follow the ridge trail past the Wind Caves for nearly a mile. The trail is obscure in many places but generally follows the ridge. The views of the Badlands are fantastic from the Crow's Nest. This hike is not an easy one. The roundtrip distance from the parking area is 3 miles and has an elevation gain/loss of nearly a thousand feet.
