Reed Bingham located about 6 miles west of Adel, Georgia is very geocacher friendly and has numerous caches in the park to seek. As a way of saying thanks, we would like to do a little CITO cleanup on Saturday the 15th of August starting at 9 am until 11 am.
We will meet at the posted coordinates and split up into groups to clean the five trails located here. Now that the floodwaters have receded, there will be a lot of trash left behind. Bring a good pair of gloves and dress in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty in. Boots would be a good idea too in case there has been recent rains. We will provide trash bags and disposable gloves.
After the CITO, we will meet back up at 1100. At this time we would like to ask that all of you who attended the CITO bring a brown bag lunch. We will adjourn to Picnic Shelter 3 so everyone can share some caching "war stories" while we eat. We will provide the drinks. (water and soda)
Additionally, we wanted to celebrate the International Geocaching Day. This will be a very easy way to mark off that event cache and what better way to do it than with other fanatics who share that same passion as you do. This is open to anyone who would like to attend.
Please note that this is a state park and a $5.00 per vehicle charge will be required to access the park.
