CurmudgeonlyGal has only been caching a few months but already
she's a far better cacher than I am and has already hit 300 caches
found. Needless to say she's been a real boost to caching in Grays
Harbor and a great geobuddy. So it's time she had a cache dedicated
to her.
She's not real big on the park and grab caches so this couldn't
be some simple little 1/1 cache. A cache dedicated to her requires
a short hike, has you cross 2 streams, and go where few people have
gone before. And it can't just be buried under a pile of leaves you
have to find a good hiding spot. Hopefully, this cache satisfies
her requirements of a good cache.
Most of the way to the cache there is on a nice flat path. At
two spots towards the end there are ditches you have to cross and
at the bottom of these ditches is a stream created by beaver dams.
At low tide you could cross on the beach or at high tide do what we
did and just hop the stream. They're not very wide. If you have
good shoes and are able to ford small streams you should be set. I
did it in March at high tide with the GeoDude! and CachinCutie aged
5 and 7 and none of us even got our feet wet.
Make sure you park at the intersection of South Arbor Rd and Ivy
Lane. Rustemeyer Rd is closer to the cache but there's no access to
the trail.

Good luck.
