Fairly easy walk, but not handicap accessible.
Probably best to drive a pickup, or other vehicle with good clearance. Gravel Roads. From Augusta, take the Sun River Canyon Road (straight west from the Helena turn-off). Go approx. 4.9 miles to the Willow Creek Resivoir Fishing Access sign. Turn right and stay on the MAIN gravel road for approx. 3 miles. (You should cross the dam in around 1.5 or 2 miles of the 3 mile stretch.) You will come to an OLD fence line that crosses the road. DO NOT go through the OLD fence. Just before you get to the OLD fence, you will see a "trail road" off to your right, or EAST. You can park here and walk, or follow the "road trail". The road isn't always visible, but just stay going east and follow the fence line untill you can't drive any further, ABOUT .4 mile. WALK FRM HERE, and enjoy the walk!!!
