Geocache Description:

This decon container holds log and small items. It is secured "Cowboyz-style."

This cache was placed by a member of UTAG.
When my mother was young she used to come up here in her family's jeep and catch salamanders in the lake. An earthquake that happened around 1988 shifted the fault and cracked the limestone aquafer, causing the lake to drain into far smaller than its original size (if you've got map software, it probably shows the cache as underwater - don't worry: your feet will *not* get wet). Although now more a puddle than a lake, there are still tadpoles and salamander larvae in it, although they should probably be left alone, since the population needs all the help it can get.

UPDATE: Although the posted coords work for some GPS recievers, others have had problems, so here are rocketbob's coords, that others have had luck with:

N 41° 42.272 W 111° 42.303
