PLEASE NOTE THE
EVENT DATE HAS CHANGED, SEE NOTE
Before we start,
PLEASE SAY IF YOU WANT FOOD AND HOW
MANY PEOPLE ARE IN YOU PARTY. I have to spell this
out because at the equivalent event
last year so many more people came and wanted feeding than had
actually stated so before hand
in "will attend" logs that the numbers I gave
to the pub were far too small and they struggled to cope,
after a while they had to refuse any more orders and people
went hungry. You are most welcome to decide much nearer
the time and log then, that's fine but when you do
PLEASE SAY HOW MANY OF YOU
WANT FOOD.
Camouflage
On January 9th
there's a lot of caching going on in these parts. Some folk are
getting up at in the early hours to climb
Cheetham Close , some are gathering at a more sociable hour at
the infamous
Bolton West Services to bid them farewell before they get
bulldozed (and I know I said that last year but this time they
really ARE going to be bulldozed!). Some are doing both and some
(who have more sense!) are doing neither. Whatever category you
fall into you and whatever caches you find with whatever
camouflage
that they are concealed with you are welcome to join the after
cache gathering in my local the Ridgway Arms. This pub is next door
to Blackrod Train station so leave your car at home if you
like!

From 12.30pm onwards
PLEASE SAY HOW MANY OF YOU WANT FOOD!
In Case You
Were Wondering
The pub is named after the
Ridgway Brothers who in the 19th century ran Wallsuchs
Bleachworks and were generous benefactors of Horwich and
Blackrod.
