Geocache Description:

A wonderful location for a cache as Crowden Brook rises to the top of the Kinder Plateau where at over 600m the weather can be a challenge! My son and I found this brilliant hiding hole during the summer. Care required around the cache site with large rock outcrops and boulders that can be lethal when wet or icy.

This cache has recently been 'muggled' for the THIRD time and has now been replaced in a new hiding place only a few feet from the original location. All cachers are asked to use stealth, particularly when the area is busy. This should help to conceal this unique location.

The Cache comprises of 2, connected 0.5L screw-top cylindrical containers to increase capacity for this hiding place. They are linked together by strong cord, with a long loop for retreival. First one for logbook and second for 'swag' items. PLEASE ENSURE YOU REPLACE THE CACHE AS FAR INTO THE HOLE AS POSSIBLE AND BLOCK-OFF WITH A SMALL BOULDER.

Location of cache:- Not so much of a 'hole' as before! More of dry nesting crack for a crow! Cache can be approached from above or below but the latter is easiest and still the safest!
