Geocache Description:

We adopted these from BLIG some time back. The Descriptions remain much as he wrote them, with some minor edits and updated information. D/T ratings have not changed, to be fair to earlier Finders, although some of these are much easier than they were. On the logsheet is a number, which is needed to find the Solar System Tour mystery cache.

Earth

Earth is the only planet whose English name does not derive from Greek/Roman mythology. In Roman Mythology, the goddess of the Earth was Tellus - the fertile soil (Greek: Gaia, terra mater - Mother Earth).

Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the fifth largest, Earth has only one natural satellite, the Moon.
