Geocache Description:

A challenging night cache bushwhacking around Bragdon Farm in Amherst N.H...formerly known as Twelfth Night or What You Will(GCZF3A)...also known by "OTHERS" (you know who you are) as the Orienteering Merit Badge, one of the requirements for the rank of Geo Scout-Second Class...and the reason that I happened upon this cache just prior to it's archival.

This cache is a restoration of a masterpiece created by muchado. This is a challenging night cache. The coordinates listed are not the coordinates for the cache. Instead, they are the starting point for this night time adventure. There are twelve waypoints on the way to the final that are marked by fire tacks. This cache is more challenging than the usual night cache because there is a fair amount of bushwhacking involved. Park at the coordinates given. When you pull into the parking area please make sure you park to the left of the entrance. There is private property to the right. Go to the starting point at the coordinates given on the top of this page. Please keep your flashlight use to a minimum until you reach the starting point. There is a private home and busy road nearby so you don't want to attract too much attention to yourself. Brown cube and pyramid fire tacks in groups of three were used for all waypoints except the final. No waypoint is more than 500 feet from the previous one.Use the following magnetic bearings to navigate from one waypoint to the next.

Start to waypoint 1 ---358 degrees
WP1 to WP2 ----- 48 degrees
WP2 to WP3 ----- 19 degrees
WP3 to WP4 ----- 51 degrees
WP4 to WP5 ----- 8 degrees
WP5 to WP6 ----- 314 degrees
WP6 to WP7 ----- 263 degrees
WP7 to WP8 ----- 190 degrees
WP8 to WP9 ----- 280 degrees
WP9 to WP10 ----- 252 degrees
WP10 to WP11 ----- 190 degrees
WP11 to FINAL ----- 81 degrees

Please note:LED flashlights do work with fire tacks. When searching, hold your light at eye level. Eye protection is recommended for you will be bushwhacking through pine which means some small low branches that just love to find their way into your eyes will be present. At no point will you need to cross a barbed wire fence. You may find yourself near one, but at no point will you need to cross it. The cache is a square lock and lock. The theme of this cache is "things that can be seen in the dark". Please only trade things that glow, reflect or light up in the dark. This cache is extremely difficult to do in daylight for the fire tacks are quite stealthy. If you have any problems locating a particular waypoint, email me and I will send you the exact coords for that waypoint. This cache should not be done solo for an experience as phenomenal as this should be shared...besides additional eyes are very helpful. Email me if you can't find anyone and I will join you. For those that have done it before.....(DO IT AGAIN...BECAUSE ITS JUST THAT GOOD) The final has been relocated for your inconvenience...but you do get another smilie........Special Thanks to MUCHADO for allowing me to resurrect this caching work of art. Good Luck................

FTF Honors go to MUCHADO...(couldn't have scripted that one)...It seems as though you got your coffee after all.....
