This is a first in a series of caches located within the
Parks.
This park was purchased from Carlyle F. Barnes in 1917 and then
renamed for Dr. Aurthur S. Brackett. He was instrumental in
securing the purchase of two tracts of land. Root Island (Brackett
Park) & Muzzy Field
Developed in 1974 through funds given by Samuuel Goodsell was a
toddler playground for pre-school aged children who must be
accompanied by an adult. So named The Goodsell Toddler Playground.
This cache is a micro ( 35 MM ) with no room for any items except a
log. Bring a pencil or pen. When caching for this please use
caution not to alert any muggles such as Pedestrian, Vehicular or
Visitor types as to the nature of your mission. This has been
affixed to a permanent location. Stealth is a huge part of this new
location.
I am also enclosing a trivia question that pertains to this
location.
In what Year and by Whom did the flooding occur ? The answer is
located within the park property by following the White Road. I
would be happy to e-mail anyone who needs hints or more info
regarding the trivia question.
