Let's celebrate the anniversary (well almost) of one of the blackest and bleakest of all the Swamp Rats™ events, the infamous Swamp Rats™ Hop, Skip & Jump event (Linky Thing) held back on 6/30/12. How much rain we get between now and then will determine if you need to bring your swim trunks and snorkling gear for the event festivities. As always brownies and certain libations (pehaps of the black variety?) will be provided by your hosts and some of the other local Rats™. Black coat and tails optional but certainly appreciated.
Gathering from 11ish to Noonish. For those interested, we will be meeting in the posted parking area at 9:30am and you can hike out to the event location with the group.
This could be the perfect Swamp Rats™ event for the uninitated. The actual hike to the event is approximately 2.0 miles from parking on well marked trails (Bushwacking Swamp Rats™ style could possibly save some mileage)...how you actually participate in the festivities is entirely up to you.
