Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The Cache is hidden on the road between the Sudwala and Sabie
Roads.
The rock formations alongside the road are caused by platetechtonic
movements of the earths crust. Scale the first rockface until you
reach the terrace. The co-ordinates will lead you to the rockface -
whereafter it is up again approximately another 2.5 metres. This is
a short difficult climb - make sure you will be able to get down
before going up! Beware of loose rocks! This cache is a old metal
8mm film canister. The canister doesn't have a water tight seal so
we have put a rubber band around the lip, please make sure that
when you're finished you replace the rubber band properly so that
the next cacher will have a dry cache to log. Please, if you notice
that the rubber band is starting to perish, replace it with one of
the spares we have left in the container for that purpose (they are
not for trading). We would also recommend retreiving the cache,
doing your logging and trading on the ground and then only
replacing the cache, as it is very difficult doing it on the
ledge... especially now that it has the rubber band around it.
Please have as much fun finding this cache as we did hiding it but
stay safe and don't monkey around as it is far to the nearest
medical help.
