Geocache Description:

We have been thinking about planning a weekends worth of fun events in and around our hometown of North Tonawanda. Well that weekend is finally here. To kick it off we would like to invite everyone down to the North Tonawanda Botanical Gardens for an evening paddle along Tonawanda Creek. The event will start at 6pm with a simple meet and greet. We will launch down the creek at some point thereafter. I do not anticipate being out on the water after it gets dark, but come prepared just in case. NYS Law requires all canoes and kayaks have a lantern or flashlight aboard while operating at night. Make sure you have them in case we lose track of time and are out paddling longer than expected. Also, make sure you have the proper amount of life jackets for everyone in your boat. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will be treated to a nice sunset while we paddle.
