Geocache Description:

The cache is located on Pie Island in Lake Superior. It is under an obvious rock cairn at the top of a cliff beside a small waterfall. (Lake Superior is at 600 ft elevation and the cache is at 371m. elevation differance???) To get there, one must Boat or Kayak to the island and then hike and scramble through mostly trailless terrain. If one is taking a motor boat to the island this could be a day trip. If not it is definitely a two or three day trip. (We created this cache as part of a four day Kayak trip.) The cashe itself is not much more than a collection of fun trinkets. Stuningly beautiful is how the creators of the Superior Cache describe its location.
