Welcome to Pinon Pines! We have lived here for 20 years and still love it.

This cache will make for a quick stop for anyone on their way up to Mt. Pinos. There are lots of hiking, biking and cross country ski trails just up the road. We feel very fortunate to have all this in our own backyard.

Be warned... there are no bathroom facilities at this pit stop. But it is a good spot to stretch your legs and to ask for directions from the muggles stopping to pick up their mail. There have been many Friday nights I've stopped for my mail, and helped to direct flatlanders to the camp they're trying to find in the dark.

Enjoy our mountain - and the wonderful hikes you will experience finding other geocaches up the road!

There is a FTF free ticket for adult admission to Magic Mountain.

Original cache contents:
Jimmy Buffett CD
Cache In, Trash Out container
The blonde measuring device
A crystal from "Crystalline"
Nissan race car
Eragon pin
"Life" magnet
Duct tape ball
Toucan Sam I Travel Bug

Nice easy find. Out on a trip to Frazier Park, thought we would pick up a few caches.

Grabbed this one after dropping off one of the kids at camp nearby. Found a small first aid kit container nearby and thought it was the cache, fallen from it's hiding place, but it turned out it was just and old first aid can. Ultimately found the cache and took a small ring. left a pathtag, pirate bracelet and the American Bear TB.
