Geocache Description:

Located on a Tater-strewn island in Lake Natomas.

This is regular cache placed in advance of GeoWoodstock VI to give visitors a few more caches should they opt for a canoe/kayak cache run on Lake Natomas. This is a great lake for paddling since there is a 5 MPH speed limit on the entire lake. So, no speed boats, skiers, or jetskis to bother you.

At the time of placement collegiate rowing championships were being conducted on the lake. So, if you start out on the south side of the lake, don't get run over by an eight man crew. Stay out of the lanes marked by buoys.

Also, please wary of rattlesnakes.
