which are comprised of A Man and His Dog...

INDIANA SPIRIT
QUEST #158
”Rockin Rails"
Welcome to Hancock County's first ISQ cache!
This is the Gillium Chapel Cemetery, Vernon Township, Hancock
County. There is very little information available on this
graveyard, however someone has done alot of work here to preserve
the site. A new fence has been added and stones have been uprighted
and some even laid and set in concdrete. This site is in wonderful
condition. A brand new stone drive is available for your parking
pleasure. Headstones date from the mid 1850's on. There are several
civil war graves within this site.
Many markers at this site contain tribues that span
several lines within the stones.
There are several Civil War Graves on this site. It
does not look like the 12th Indiana Infantry fared so well in the
War.
The cache
container is a small, bottle with blue cap. Please
leave it at least as well concealed, if not better, than you
found it. Be sure to close the gate when you enter and leave.
BYOP. If you find the coordinates to be a little off,
do not hesitate to post a waypoint with your log. There
are US flags decorating graves of veterans. Bring a new
flag or two and replace the weathered flags as appropriate.
As always, be respectful, and cache in, trash out. God Bless
our troops in harm's
way.
WARNING: FIND LOGS ON THIS CACHE THAT INDICATE
NIGHT CACHING WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT
NOTICE!
