Geocache Description:

Whilst finding this cache, you're likely to place one foot in Lancashire, the other in Yorkshire.

You're looking for a 3600ml lock n lock tub - at the time of writing this, it PACKED with toys and goodies.

According to the OS map, and the vector based multimap (see link), the border runs right down the the middle of the now defunct 'Dark Lane' (the right of way path runs along the south side of the lane.

Funnily, Google maps inaccurately, (at the time of writing) referred to it as 'Dodgeson Lane'. Inaccurate unless you acknowledge google as being a higher voice of authority than Ordinance Survey when it comes to taxonomy of paths and roads etc.

The border around this area moved in the eary 70's rendering the once Yorkshire town of Earby, a Lancashire town. Many locals were disgruntled and still are today, many holding on to their Yorkshire roots. Many a white rose can be seen around Earby, including one fo the pubs.. bonus kudos for noting which one in your comments!
