18 Carrots Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MHz: Snowshoed in and had a look. The spot where it was last fall had all the snow excavated so there is no cache there but caches do migrate. I'll have to go back in about a month when the snow is gone and have another look to see if someone just vandalized it and left the container somewhere else under the snow. Other than a bunch of snow being moved, I can see no trace of the cache or contents. Guess the ghosts did a great job of cleaning things up here. Thnaks!

Saw the rope and 2x4 nailed to a tree nearby but I'd hardly call that a tree stand as it'd be mighty uncomfortable. I remember it all being there when I hid the cache too as it looks really old and weathered. Your not allowed to hunt this close to a major highway anyway. That doesn't mean people don't though.

I'll archive this for now and scout out the area again later in the spring and maybe place a new cache here. Thanks to all how found this cache and the Friendly Ghosts who let me know there was a problem here! MHz and Gord from Morris

Geocache Description:

This ammo can is located in the St. Malo Wildlife Management Area just south of St. Malo, Manitoba. This area can be wet at times but is dry this year.

It's happened and happened very quickly but this cache is the official 1000th active cache to be published in Manitoba! Congrats to all the hiders out there for bringing Manitoba onto the caching maps in such a big way in the past couple of years! Keep 'em coming!

Congrats Capt' Redbeard on being FTF!
