Interstate 70 is a long interstate highway in the United States. The cache is an ammo can tucked away in a bush. that runs from Interstate 15 about a mile from Cove Fort, Utah, to a Park and Ride in Baltimore, Maryland.
I-70 milage

The sign on this page (also in the cache) is located less than 1 mile from the junction of I-695 and I-70, on the west side of Baltimore. When I was doing runs from Salt Lake to New Castle DE, I would pass this sign and wonder, does anyone in Maryland know where Cove Fort is? How many people in Utah know about Cove Fort?

Well, a little history about the sign. According to an article my mom cut out for me, Maryland DOT was testing a new Font for signs and placed this sign as a test. They picked 4 locations along I-70. They did not include the states, as 3 are known by name alone.

The cache is placed at the last exit of I-70, before the junction of I-15. I tried to place this cache about as far from the end of I-70 as the sign is at the other end.

NOTE: 11/19 Cache is now a SMALL cache. Will replace with a larger cache as time allows.

I was headed to Kaysville from Cedar City and selected 28 caches that supposedly had travel bugs in them. Here are my statistics.
28 Caches
18 Found
9 not found, 3 I made the decision not to go. Too far out of my way, 4 not found because of deep snow. 2 I should have been able to find but couldn't, possibly snow related.
1 passed on because it was in someone's front yard. I just don't feel comfortable doing that.
Of the 18 found 9 of them had a travel bug in the cache and 9 did not.
Thanks for the hunt and the long trip home.
I stomped the daylights out of a two foot deep snow drift looking and couldn't find it.
