This cache is a short 5 mile drive from Packwood at the Trailhead parking lot (Elevation 2,776 ft). You can drive to the cache and park in the parking lot. Be aware that you need a NW Forest Pass if you are staying very long. There is a lot of hiker traffic here so be on the lookout. You will need to climb a short distance.

The cache is a small, water tight, camoed container. The original contents:

If you are a hiker the 4.5 mile hike to Packwood lake is an enjoyable one!
