This event was created so that some of his geo-pals could wish him well on this "bucket list" journey. You see, Beep worked for 34 years and 9 months at the Alabama Conservation and Natural Resources department of the Alabama State Parks system and was able to retire recently.

From Amicalola Falls Earthcache area: This is approach trial for the Appalachian Trail in Amicalola Falls State Park, GA and was taken in November 2014.
The event starts at 6:00 pm but feel free to come earlier. The facilty closes at 7:30 so keep that in mind if you might be tardy.
