Geocache Description:


This cache is on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail. More information can be found at www.CedarValleyTrail.com

NOTE:In Feb 2006 the Linn County Conservation Board voted to remove permit fees for the portions of the trail in Linn County. The trail web site says "Permits are no longer required to use any portion of the trail.". Evidently Benton County (where the cache is) has dropped their permit requirement also.


The cache is an easy walk (less than half a mile from Hwy 150) along the Cedar Valley Nature Trail. There is only a little bit of parking at the trail crossing. When you find the cache, sign the log and replace the penny inside with one you brought. The penny you leave must have a date that is one year earlier than the penny you take. That is, if the cache has a 2005 penny when you get there, then you need to leave a 2004 penny.


Remember: You need to leave a penny with a date one year earlier than the penny you take, and include the date of the penny you left in your online log (so the next person knows what date to bring).
Found It logs that do not meet these requirements will be deleted.
