Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. You must solve the following puzzle to obtain the correct geocache coordinates. You are looking for a cache of unknown size (no spoilers please) that highlights some of the many activities of the Wisconsin Geocaching Association. There is a room in the cache for small swag and trackables. You’ll need to bring your own pen.

This puzzle cache ties together all of the caches in this series, as all of the answers can be found somewhere on the web pages of the other eight geocaches in this series. This is not a field puzzle. The cache is located at the following coordinates:

N43 0A.BCD W88 0E.FGH

A= Number of times Becky Waldmann served as president of the WGA

B= Last digit of the year the WGA campout was held in Door County’s Peninsula State Park

C= Number of “main” WGA committees currently listed

D= Number of times Black River State Forest has hosted either the WGA annual campout or the WGA annual picnic

E= Combined number of WGA state park caches hidden by uws22 and kungfuhippie

F= Number of WGA board of directors members, minus one

G= Number of WGA annual Winter events that are regularly scheduled for each WINTER

H= Last digit of the year that the first geocaching picnic event was held

(All of the answers can be found on the web pages of the first six WGA caches in this series)

The WGA
The Wisconsin Geocaching Association (WGA) is a group of fun-loving, outdoor-minded people dedicated to promoting geocaching within the state of Wisconsin. The WGA organizes geocaching events, works with land owners/managers on geocaching policies, educates organizations and the public at large about geocaching, and facilitates communication between WGA members via their website, events, and newsletters.

How to Participate
We hope you’ll consider joining the WGA (it’s always free) and expanding your awareness of geocaching throughout Wisconsin. Or even better, attending some of their geocaching events. Or better yet, why not volunteer to help at one of the events, whether it’s setting up a table, flipping burgers, serving on a committee, serving pancakes, or hiding an event geocache. Or discussing all things geocaching in the WGA online forums. Or writing about a fun geocaching experience or your thoughts about a geocaching subject for their quarterly e-newsletter. For us personally, we have greatly benefitted from participating in the WGA since we first joined in 2010. It’s expanded our awareness of so many more aspects of the sport of geocaching and has connected us to so many fun people!

How to Join
It’s easy to join the WGA, and membership is free. Just register on their website at http://www.wi-geocaching.com. The WGA website is one of the best resources for geocachers in Wisconsin. It is a great place to find and share information on any aspect of geocaching. Come share, download resources, ask questions or just socialize in their online forums!
