Mahlon Dickerson Reservation is located on Weldon Road in Jefferson Township, Morris County, NJ.
The geocache is accessible using the Ogden Mine Railroad Bed trail, which can be found across Weldon Road, northwest of the Saffin Pond parking area. My geocaches are centered around the scenic and peaceful swamps/marshes in this area of the Reservation. From here, you are on your own.
Located in, near or around a swamp in which Weldon Brook has been slowed by the beavers.
This geocache container is a freshly painted .30 cal ammo box w/geocaching markings. Please take care and return cache container to it's "original placement", so that other cachers may enjoy the hunt as much as you have. And please, watch your step.
