Geocache Description:

This is a smallish regular sized cache located in or around the Blue Bluff Recreational area in Aberdeen, MS. If you choose to launch a boat at the Blue Bluff Landing boat ramp, there is a $3/day launch fee.

An ait (pronounced /eɪt/, like "eight") is a small island in a river or lake. Aits are typically formed by the deposition of sediment in the water, which accumulates over a period of time.

You are probably aware by reading the above definition and looking at the map for this cache that you are gonna need something that floats or some strong swimming skills to reach this cache.  Once you reach the ait, the cache itself should not be hard to find.  Getting ashore may prove to be slightly trickier.  You are looking for a smallish regular sized lock-n-lock type container tucked next to a tree and tethered to said tree.

When I placed this cache, there were 2 deer that seemed to frequent these two small islands in the middle of the Aberdeen Lake, swimming from one to the other as I looked around.
