You can come to this event by land or by water. The coordinates are for a boat launch on the Connecticut River located in Windsor about as far upriver as you can get without being in Windsor Locks. The restaurant parking lot looks like it could be for the boat launch, but it is not. The access to the boat launch is by a dirt road.
The restaurant has a large dining room, a pub and game room, and a deck over looking the river. As usual we will start at 7:00, but you can certainly come early.
The Central CT Cacher's Nite Out is an evening gathering on the first Tuesday of every month, held in a new and exciting place every time. Mark you calendars now! Everyone is welcome to attend…you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher…new folks are most welcome! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted.
This event features new or rotating hosts every month. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid & Miles Stone. As host, you'll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit.
There are a numbers of places in the Greater Hartford area to enjoy good food and drinks. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central Connecticut area.
