A small cache along a beautiful trail in the Bear Creek Redwoods
Open Space Preserve...
Note: Bear Creek Redwoods OSP requires a permit to
hike.
After passing Alma Dale, the trail becomes dry and hot. You might
wish you were in the redwood canyons again.
Well, your wish is granted. This cache marks the spot where the
trail enters a cool, redwood covered area.
The cache was placed during a group hike and was made with
various elements we carried with us. But it doesn't have a pen so
please bring one.
update 08/30/08 : The container is now a small lock and lock
container with room for small swag and it contains a pen.
Permits and further information may be easily obtained by calling
the District office at (650) 691-1200 during regular business hours
(ask for Leslie).
