Geocache Description:

A small cache at the trailhead to the Ravenswood Open Space Preserve.

The Ravenswood Open Space Preserve is comprised of 2 noncontiguous areas located south of the Dumbarton Bridge and adjacent to San Francisco Bay. This cache is placed at the larger area near Cooley Landing and consists of a former salt pond, surrounded by levees, which is being restored to native marshland.

The preserve is open from dawn until one half-hour after sunset.
